| its been a crazy week of evacuating, running away from fires, meeting the Governator and shaking his hand. I am very proud to be a Michigan Wolverine... this is the email I got from my school.
The fires here in San Diego County have impacted so many of us. The UM Club of San Diego Board of Governors hope that you and your family are safe during these difficult times in San Diego. If you need it, we'd like to help… Do you need help with a place to stay, pet sitting, storage space, clean up help, car ride, etc.? If you need assistance, please let us know and we'll try to match needs with volunteers. Send an e-mail to firehelpsd@umich.edu. You don't have to be an UM alumni to get help. Wolverines want to make a difference in San Diego. Be safe and Go Blue!

| A belated thank you... but thanks for all of my friends who thought it would be a great idea to clog my arteries and feed me bacon in all its glorious forms from bacon wrapped fillet to chocolate bacon. Although 20 lbs heavier and a loss of 5 years from my lifespan...I'm very thankful to have wonderful friends to celebrate my birthday with.

| i now know what it means by "don't think too hard, you might hurt yourself" It actually hurts to think hard after you've had a concussion.

| What a weekend... the mission bowl was crazy... I was really proud to play alongside the guys on my team...they played with alot of heart and integrity. Being seated 3rd in the playoffs wasn't a bad thing either. But man...somewhere in the midst of it all... I lost 30 minutes of my life. Somewhere in the 2nd half of the first game, I guess I was going for an INT and Ervin was too...and we must not have seen each other...and WHACK!!! lights out... People told me that I got right back up and stumbled off the field...but I don't even remember the play or the last half of the game. Its a pretty scary thing for me to be in this state of not knowing anything. So the past couple of days, i've had an increbible headache, limited mobility of my right arm/shoulder...trembling hands...but luckily today that stopped.
So Today I sat at the Doctor's office for 6 hours...having lights shined in my eyes, and ears, 3 x-rays and a CT scan. It was all very intimidating and scary, especially after looking at the doctor's face as he ordered the CT scan right after I retold to him what happened. But luckily at the end of the day, I'll be ok...I have some swelling...but he said that I just need to rest for a couple of days.
But I just have to thanks to Roger, who in the middle of church service saw that I was hurting and ran to get me ice for my shoulder and head, to KK and auntie Ruth who have supplied me with enough drugs to not feel any pain for the rest of the year haha...to Dave and Joanne Chiu who stopped by and dropped me off some good home cooking, and to Andrew Chang and Andrew Ling who have tried to check up on me, and Jedrek and Kristina for dropping off a get well card that plays the spoonful of sugar song from mary poppins and Jennilyn for always checking up on me to make sure I haven't died haha. All of that makes me realize how awesome is this family I have here at CBC. Thanks!
